Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to a single mother with a passion for writing Michael’s road to creativity was a short one. At Hampton University Michael was able to travel and study in the South Pacific where he began his journey as a visual storyteller. Soon after graduating from Hampton, Michael was accepted into the prestigious University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. There he was able to pursue his directing and producing goals.

His film “Jazz Singer” which he directed and wrote premieres at the Arizona Black Film Showcase. He has also produced the acclaimed short film “Last Exit” which was written and directed my Nicola Marsh. Michael has just completed his thesis film “Brothers Incorporated” which he shot in his hometown Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. “Brothers Incorporated” received The Caucus Foundation Student Production Grant in 2008.

Upon graduation from USC Michael plans to purse filmmaking as independent producer and director.
